TECPPF® Paint Protection Film always give your car best protection. To ensure the product performance, please follow these instructions
below:
1.Do not wash the car within 72 hours after installation. Any disturbance may interfere with the curing process, because the
moisture between your car’s paint surface and the film is still evaporating and the film has not yet adhered to the surface well. Keepclean. Paint Protection Film is porous. This means that if dust and other contaminants are left on for long, they can contaminate it and make it dull over time.
To prevent this, wipe off any fuel spills immediately or wax. ceramic coating on PPF’s surface if possible, ensure not include corrosive elements, which will damage your film, including its self-healing capabilities. Avoid products from aggressive chemicals. The detailing products with corrosive or abrasive chemicals will damage or reduce PPF efficacy.
2.Products that should be averted include tar and bug removers, clay cleaners and degreasers among other harmful products. Remove bird droppings, bugsplatter, etc. immediately. Bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, and other natural contaminants that are acidic should not be left on the film for long. Such contaminants can quickly degrade the PPF and reduce its shine.
Soften difficult contaminants, like tree sap, by soaking them for several minutes with hot, soapy water. Then, rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use rough scrubbing or abrasive tools, which will scratch the film. Park your car in an enclosed location without sunlight.
3.Store your wrapped vehicle indoors, in ashaded area, or under a cover whenever possible. Storage will help preserve and protect the film from
heat and UV exposure. Hand washing is best. Hand wash your vehicle if possible. If you must send it through the car wash, avoid using a pressure washer or high-pressure water source near the edges of the film. Or it can cause the lifting or damage of the film.
